Good Housekeeping Selects Swiffer for its Annual V.I.P. (Very Innovative Product) Award

Posted on 26-Feb-2010

The Good Housekeeping Research Institute and its readers selected the Swiffer Sweeper as the Hall of Fame Award winner for its 2010 V.I.P. (Very Innovative Product) Award.

Each year, the Good Housekeeping Research Institute evaluates thousands of new products. They select V.I.P award winners based on their ability to stand out and improve the lives of consumers day-to-day in big and small ways.

Of Swiffer, Good Housekeeping wrote: “It truly changed the way we clean. The cloth whisks up dust and hair better and faster than any broom bristles can, and with less hassle than hauling out the vacuum requires. Used with wet cloths, it’s even an efficient mop stand-in. Plus, the low-profile head ducks under furniture. How did we live without it?”
