Pharmacists and doctors are the primary contacts for patients.

From a global perspective, there has been a concerted effort to redefine pharmacy from being primarily responsible for moving a product through the system to one of being responsive: ensuring the patient knows how to utilise their medication appropriately in order to achieve maximum value and outcome.

The RSC activities for the healthcare professionals include:

• Developing stronger personal relationships with pharmacists and general practitioners.
• Providing information regarding the medications.

Cold and Flu Diagnostic Card
A typical cold sufferer will complain of various symptoms: sore throat, blocked or runny nose, headache and cough. Flu suffers typically have associated fever and muscle aches and pains. Most cold and flu symptoms can be attributed to swollen tissues which have been infected by the cold or flu virus.

RSC has developed a diagnostic card to help with the diagnosis.
