RSC carries out extensive research into the pathophysiology of upper respiratory tract disorders in order to understand the underlying causes of these diseases. The Common Cold and Allergies are the most common pathologies of the upper respiratory system.

The COMMON COLD and FLU are umbrella terms for acute upper respiratory tract infections, usually of viral origin. Colds and Flus are seasonal. They are most common during the colder months and at the change of the seasons. For more information about Cold and Flu, click here.
