P&G provides Purifier of Water to global relief agencies, including UNICEF, the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the International Rescue Committee, AmeriCares, Samaritan's Purse, CARE, Population Services International and others so they can provide drinking water in emergency situations. has been used in more than 14 countries and more than 200 million liters of safe drinking water have been provided for emergency relief. is made available at cost to international relief agencies.

Independent monitoring of during emergencies by the the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, CARE, Aquaya Institute, and AmeriCares has shown that it can be a practical way to provide emergency drinking water.
